Antoinette Poisson:
Co-founders and artistic directors of "À Paris chez Antoinette Poisson", Vincent Farelly and Jean-Baptiste Martin are both heritage restorers specializing in wallpaper.
Since 2012, they have brought the "savoir-faire" of "papier dominot" back to life with the creation of La Maison "À Paris chez Antoinette Poisson", name given in homage to the Marquise de Pompadour, born Jeanne-Antoinette Poisson, lover of arts and wallpaper, whose period of life corresponds to the golden age of the "papier dominoté".
These decorative papers reached their peak in the 18th century before gradually disappearing in the following century, with the appearance of block-printed roll paper.
"À Paris chez Antoinette Poisson" brings this forgotten "savoir-faire" back to life and remains faithful to the techniques and to the aesthetics of the time by creating patterns inspired by the Age of Enlightenment or by reissuing historical patterns.
His collection of "papier dominoté" is designed, printed paper by paper and colored in his Parisian workshop.
